Doktorské studijní programy

Hudební teorie a pedagogika, délka studia 3 roky, forma studia prezenční a kombinovaná.

Vstupní požadavky: 1. Titul magistr (Mgr., MgA.), nebo PhDr., PaedDr, v oborech učitelství hudební výchovy pro základní školy, střední školy, eventuelně v oborech muzikologie či hudební umění. 2. předpoklady pro vědeckou práci doložené účastí na výzkumu, aktivními vystoupeními na vědeckých konferencích, odbornou publikační činností apod. 2. Úspěšné vykonání přijímací zkoušky. Požadavky pro přijímací zkoušku: předložit soupis publikovaných prací, aktivních vystoupení na vědeckých konferencích ap., předložit soupis prostudované  odborné hudebně výchovně a muzikologické literatury, ve vědecké rozpravě prezentovat ucelený základní přehled v oboru hud. teorie a pedagog., blíže specifikovat okruh osobního odborného zájmu z vytipované hudebně pedagogické disciplíny, obhájit stručný projekt zamýšlené disertační práce podle osnovy: a)  specifikace studijního zaměření na konkrétní vědeckou problematiku uchazeče, b) pracovní název práce, c) přehled dosavadního zpracování vytipované  problematiky (tj. zvl. přehled o stavu pramenů a o literatuře  ke zkoumání dané problematiky),  d) písemný návrh struktury, cílů a metod zamýšlené práce, e)  představy o jejím možném přínosu pro obor Hudební teorie a pedagogika, prokázat aktivní znalost jednoho světového jazyka na úrovni jazykových zkoušek při  vysokoškolském studiu a dalšího jazyka pasivně.
Profil absolventa oboru
Absolvent doktorského studijního programu musí být schopen samostatné tvůrčí odborné a vědecké práce. K této činnosti by měl být vybaven širokým vědomostním  rozsahem v oboru a  širším okruhu příbuzných vědeckých disciplín, aby mohl dostatečně erudovaně docházet k zobecňujícím závěrům v oblasti zkoumání hudebně  teoretických a hudebně pedagogických jevů. Tuto schopnost prokáže zejména napsáním vědecké doktorské disertační práce, která přináší nově vědecké poznatky, a  to v minimálním rozsahu 160 stran.
Uplatnění absolventů
Absolventi DSP Hudební teorie a pedagogika se mohou uplatnit především jako vědecko - pedagogické osobnosti na hudebně výchovných katedrách pedagogických fakult, na konzervatořích, dále jako odborní vědečtí a výzkumní pracovníci ústavů resortu školství mládeže a tělovýchovy i kultury, eventuelně jako špičkoví  hudební pedagogové na  školách všech stupňů.
Povinnosti studenta a hodnocení průběhu studia. 1. Studijní povinnosti: V rámci ISP studenti DSP absolvují zkoušky ze čtyř  povinných předmětů: Hudební  pedagogika, Filozofie výchovy a vzdělávání,  Metodologie vědecké práce, Cizí jazyk I a Cizí jazyk II. Dále zkoušky ze tří povinně volitelných předmětů z nabídky povinně volitelných předmětů: Hudební teorie, Hudební historiografie (starší období), Hudební historiografie novější doby (20. století – soudobá hudba, Dějiny české hudební kultury, Komplexní analýza skladeb, Hudební estetika, Hudební psychologie,  Psychologie kreativity, Hudební sociologie, Hudební folkloristika, Teorie a dějiny nonartificiální hudby. Dále vykonají Státní doktorskou zkoušku a obhajobu doktorské práce. Studenti mají za povinnost publikovat v průběhu studia tři studie v recenzovaných časopisech či sbornících, případně vydat adekvátní počet CD nosičů, zveřejnit tři recenze a zúčastnit se dvou konferencí. 2. Přímá pedagogická, organizační ad. práce na katedře. Studenti v prezenční formě studia jsou dále pověření výukou hudebních předmětů v bakalářských a magisterských programech v rozsahu 5 hodin týdně (bez možnosti přímého zkoušení studentů), úkoly při organizačním zabezpečení konferencí, koncertů a podobných akcí  pořádaných mateřským pracovištěm, správou a archivací odborných periodik a diplomových prací a koordinací provozu v   odborných  učebnách katedry ( ICT,  didaktika Hv, sborový sál, přednáškový sál). K plánování průběhu studia, jeho evidenci a hodnocení slouží tzv. individuální studijní  plán, který vypracuje student na začátku studia. Jeho kontrola probíhá ve spolupráci se školitelem každoročně. Application conditions: 1. degree in music education, musicology, 2. passing the entrance examination, 3. the capacity for scientific work, backed up with proof of research, active presentation at conferencies, publications etc. 2. passing the entrance examination, 3. the capacity for scientific work; backed up with proof of research, active presentation at scientific conferences, specialized publications etc. The entrance examination requirements: to present a list of published and nonpublished works, active presentations at scientific conferences, etc., to present a list of studied literature,  to demonstrate an overall survey in the  theory of music and music education and its border scientific disciplines, to specify an interest in the particular part of theory of music and music education, to demonstrate an active knowledge of English language as a scientific and research communicative tool, to submit a proposal of  the  PhD. thesis.
Profile of  graduates: Graduates of the doctoral study programme should be capable of independent creative specialised and scientific work. In order to do this they should be equipped with a wide range of knowledge in the branch of studies along with a familiarity with related scientific disciplines in order to sufficiently reach general conclusions in the area of exploring music theory and music education phenomena. This ability must be apparent in particular in the writing of their doctoral dissertation which should introduce new scientific knowledge of a minimum length of 160 pages. Graduates of the doctoral study programme can find employment primarily as academic figures at music education departments of faculties of education, at music academies and as specialised scientists and researchers in institutes of education of young people and physical education and culture or possibly as top-level music teachers at schools on all levels.
Aims of  the study The preparation of scientific research workers for research and specialized activity in the individual music-educational disciplines who then will be able to realize especially as the research pedagogic personalities at the usic-educational departments of Pedagogical faculties, then as research workers at the institutes of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture and possibly as excellent music pedagogues at the schools of all kinds.
Individual study plan The content of doctoral study is determined by an individual study plan, which must be, after submission by the supervisor, approved by the institutional comittee. The individual study plan is obligatory for all persons and organizations who participate in the doctoral study. (Any changes must go through the same process as the approval.) The education is provided in the form of courses, lectures, seminars and individual consultations. The individual study plan contains: the title of the dissertation thesis, the list of obligatory disciplines and restricted elective disciplines in which students have to pass the examinations (usually during the 1st and 2nd year of study) and terms of their examinations, the term of  planned state doctoral examination, the term of Ph.D. thesis defence, lists of publications, active presentations at conferences, reviews and other academic activities concerning education.
Evaluation of courses in the doctoral study – end of year´s report. At the end of every academic year (31.8.), the Ph.D. student has to make an end of year´s report about his/her previous activities. This report is decisive for continuing the studies and for any possible alterations to the individual study plan. The report must be recommended by the supervisor, discussed and approved by the institutional committee and passed to an appropriate vice-dean. A copy of the report is kept with the supervisor. 2. In the case of a positive end of year´s report evaluation by the institutional committee, the student will be allowed to advance next year of the doctoral study. 3. The institutional committee can suggest a change of supervisor on the basis of the end of year´s report or at the student´s request. The change must be approved by the dean. 4. The institutional committee can make a proposal to the dean to prematurely terminate the doctoral study on the basis of the end of year´s report.
